(1) According to sub-section (2) of section 9 of the Act: When applying to the industry registration body for the extension of the period for operating an industry or starting one's commercial production or business, it must be submitted in the format as per Schedule-9.
(2) In accordance with sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Act, the following late fee payment must be attached with the application to extend the period:-
(a) Fifteen thousand rupees in case of domestic and small industries (b) Fifty thousand rupees in case of medium industries,
(c) One lakh fifty thousand rupees in case of large amount.
(3) If any additional details, documents or information are found to be necessary in relation to the application received under sub-rule (1) or (2), the industry registration body may order the relevant applicant to submit such details, documents or information within seven days.
(4) Within fifteen days of receiving the details, documents or information requested in accordance with sub-rule (3), the industry registration body may extend the period for starting operations or commercial production or business for a maximum of one year to the period mentioned in the industry registration certificate.
